Princeton?

The Thursday right after our last AICE exam on June 11th, I traveled up to New Jersey for a Questbridge conference on Saturday June 16th. To say the least, it was a wonderful experience and not only did I get to see Princeton University, which is beautiful and gorgeous in every way (and has an absolutely amazing dining hall) butI also got to see Columbia University and travel New York and New Jersey the three extra days I was there. We even saw fireflies, which I've never seen in my life before.

Family Time

It was the perfect way to start off summer: with the whole family.

For the first time in several months, the whole family was together: mom and dad, my two brothers, my sister-in-law, my two nephews…and of course, our parrot, Toto. Dragging his cage up with us on a 6 hour drive to Jacksonville was no fun feat, especially because he was terrified out of his mind half the time. Add in tropical storm #34234234 and a naval base right by the beach: the perfect windy weekend, just not the way we expected.

This blog is to showcase my summer. You'll see a lot of normal, mundane things because to me, that's what summer is: a combination of really relaxing days and the memories you'll never forget.
